Product Description
The 51112 ISB is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, often referred to as ball thrust bearings or axial deep groove ball bearings. It consists of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, allowing for high rotational speeds. These bearings are designed to only be loaded axially in one direction, with the housing ring having a slightly larger bore diameter to allow for clearance. They can be disassembled for separate mounting, but caution should be taken not to mix up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. It’s important to note that the flat seat of the housing ring means the bearing cannot compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing.
