Product Description
The 51406 SKF is a single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. This type of bearing can only be loaded axially in one direction and must not be loaded radially, ensuring the shaft can be locked in place. Its open design allows for easy disassembly and separate mounting of components. However, it cannot compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing due to its flat seat housing ring.
