Product Description
The NP024261 Timken is an outer ring designed to be combined with a separate cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing. This design allows the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces, with greater axial load capacity as the angle between the outer ring and bearing center line increases. The geometry of tapered roller bearings minimizes sliding movements, reducing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of end play or preload.
