Product Description
The LY65 Timken is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers, and can be combined with a separately available cup to create a complete bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers allow the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, while preventing sliding movements to minimize component wear. It’s easy to mount and allows for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace the cone and cup together, from the same manufacturer, to avoid potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances. Always use the LY65 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for the best results.
