Product Description
The LY62A Timken is an outer ring cup designed for use with a separately available cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, with greater axial load capacity at higher angle between the outer ring and bearing center line. The separable cone and cup enable easy mounting and axial adjustment, while preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers to minimize component wear. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, materials, and tolerances.
