Product Description
The LL713149 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. Its design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by internal profile differences, material variations, and tolerances.
