The LL20949NW Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, featuring the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a compatible cup (outer ring), these components form a complete tapered roller bearing. Their conical raceways and tapered rollers allow the bearing to handle both radial and axial forces in one direction.
The unique design of tapered roller bearings minimizes sliding between the raceways and rollers, reducing component wear. Optimal bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup can be easily installed and adjusted for proper axial clearance or preload.
