Product Description
The LL205442 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup, they form a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding and minimizes wear, but a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The separable cone and cup are easy to mount and adjust for proper axial clearance. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
