Product Description
The JM822049 Timken is a removable cone used for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When paired with a separately available cup, it forms a complete bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces. Its design minimizes component wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load and both the cone and cup are easily mountable and adjustable for axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it is best to replace both components simultaneously and use a matching cup from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
