Product Description
The HM905843 Timken is a single-row tapered roller bearing cone, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separate cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. This design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction. Tapered roller bearings minimize sliding movements between parts, reducing wear. It’s important to replace both the cone and cup together for reliability, ideally from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues. Adjusting axial clearance is easy during assembly, and components can be easily mounted or adjusted for preload.
