Product Description
The HM807044 Timken is a removable cone component for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a compatible cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces in one direction. Its design prevents sliding and minimizes wear, though a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting and enable adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance and longevity, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to prevent compatibility issues.
