Product Description
The HM252348 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate cup, these components form a complete tapered roller bearing able to absorb radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, reducing wear. However, a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. Easy to mount, the cone and cup allow for axial adjustment during assembly. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously and use components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems caused by differences in profiles, materials, and tolerances. Always pair the HM252348 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
