Product Description
The HH224310-20024 Timken cup is designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing, serving as the outer ring that can be paired with a compatible cone to form a complete bearing. The tapered design allows for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction, with the angle between the outer ring and the bearing’s center line determining axial load capacity. Its geometry reduces sliding movements, minimizing wear, and it’s easily mountable and adjustable for proper operation. For reliable performance, replace the cup and cone simultaneously, preferably from the same manufacturer to prevent potential issues caused by different profiles, materials, and tolerances.
