Product Description
The H247510 Timken is a cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing with the ability to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. Its conical raceways and roller elements minimize sliding movements, reducing wear and requiring a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both components at the same time and to use a matching cone from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
