Product Description
The GIR8-UK INA is a rod end featuring a housing with integral shank and a spherical plain bearing. This bearing, made of inner and outer rings without rolling elements, can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly used on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for connecting two shafts. With a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, this rod end is maintenance-free, thanks to the special plastic PTFE, which creates a smooth surface on the inner ring during the run-in period.
