Product Description
The GIR17-DO Elges is a rod end with a spherical plain bearing that accommodates misalignment and supports radial forces. It is typically mounted on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders or used to connect two shafts. Featuring a steel-on-steel sliding contact, this bearing type is wear-resistant and has a high load carrying capacity, but requires regular maintenance and proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
