Product Description
The GE45-UK-2RS-A INA is a type of spherical plain bearing. Unlike traditional bearings, it does not have rolling elements but is instead made up of an inner and outer ring. The inner ring has a convex outer surface, while the outer ring has a concave inner surface. This unique design allows the bearing to carry high loads and accommodate misalignment.
One of the key features of the GE45-UK-2RS-A INA is its steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, which makes it maintenance-free. PTFE is a special type of plastic that is deposited onto the opposite running surface during the run-in period of the bearing. This helps to fill in small irregularities on the inner ring surface, creating a smooth and perfect fit between the components.
