Product Description
The GAR17UK-2RS Elges is a rod end with a spherical plain bearing that can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is often used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect shafts. The spherical plain bearing features a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. The PTFE coating fills in small irregularities on the inner ring surface during the run-in period, ensuring a perfect fit between components.
