Product Description
The A2127 Timken is an outer ring cup designed to be paired with a separately available cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this cup and cone setup allows for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction. Its geometric qualities minimize sliding and component wear, but a minimum load is required for proper operation. The separable cone and cup are easily mountable and allow for adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, ideally sourced from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems. Always pair the A2127 Timken cup with a matching cone from the same manufacturer.
