Product Description
The A2031 Timken is a removable cone that forms the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When paired with a separate cup (outer ring), it creates a complete tapered roller bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces. Its design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting, and their axial movement allows for adjustment of end play or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always pair the A2031 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for reliable operation.
