Product Description
The 742BPREC3 Timken is an outer ring cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to handle radial and axial forces. The addition of an external flange simplifies axial placement in a housing, resulting in a more compact and cost-effective bearing design. The separable cup and cone allow for easy installation and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace both the cup and the cone simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer.
