Product Description
The 685 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. Its design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing wear. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both components simultaneously and use matching parts from the same manufacturer.
