Product Description
The 67787PREC.3 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers, and when combined with a separate cup, forms a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers allow it to absorb radial and axial forces, preventing sliding and minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and its separable design allows for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace the cone and cup together, ideally from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
