Product Description
The 66462 Timken is the outer ring cup for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this design enables the bearing to handle radial and axial forces efficiently. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, it’s best to replace the cone and cup together and use components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems.
