Product Description
The 66225 Bower is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The innovative design minimizes component wear by preventing sliding movements. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup enable easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
