Product Description
The 653/Q SKF is a cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and roller elements enable the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. Tapered roller bearings prevent sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear. It is easily mountable and allows for axial clearance or preload adjustment during assembly. To ensure reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, materials, and tolerances.
