Product Description
The 652 SKF is an outer ring cup made for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways of the outer and inner rings, along with conical roller elements, enable the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The greater the angle between the outer ring and the bearing’s center line, the higher its axial load capacity. Tapered roller bearings are designed to minimize component wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. It’s important to replace both the cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems due to different internal profiles, material differences, and tolerances.
