Product Description
The 594-20024 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers, working together with a separately available cup to form a complete bearing. With conical raceways and tapered rollers, this design enables the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces. Tapered roller bearings prevent sliding movements, minimizing wear, but require a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace the cone and cup together, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances.
