Product Description
The 55200C.PREC3 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, containing the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separate cup, these parts form a complete tapered roller bearing that can handle both radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding and minimizes wear, but a minimum load is required for proper operation. The cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it’s best to replace both components at the same time and use parts from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
