Product Description
The 51406 SNR is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. Designed with a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, these bearings have an open design, making them suitable for high rotational speeds. They can only be loaded axially in one direction, allowing for locking the shaft in place. They should not be loaded radially. The bearing’s components can be easily disassembled and mounted separately, but it’s important to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing ring during assembly. The housing ring of the 51406 SNR has a flat seat, which means it cannot compensate for any misalignment between the shaft and housing.
