Product Description
The 51405 FAG is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing (also referred to as ball thrust bearings or axial deep groove ball bearings). It features a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds. This type of bearing can only handle axial loads in one direction, allowing for the locking of a shaft in one direction while not being able to handle radial loads. The bearing can be disassembled for easy mounting, but caution should be taken to ensure the correct assembly of the components. The housing ring has a flat seat, which means it cannot compensate for any misalignment between the shaft and housing.
