Product Description
The 463 Timken is the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When paired with a separate cup (or outer ring), it creates a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. This design prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear and allowing for easy adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances. Always pair the 463 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
