The 45280 Bower is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. Its unique design minimizes component wear and allows for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace the cone and cup together from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
