Product Description
The 321 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, made up of the inner ring and rollers. Pair it with a separate cup (outer ring) to complete the bearing. With conical raceways and tapered rollers, this design allows for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction. The bearing’s geometry minimizes sliding movements and wear, though a minimum load is required for proper operation. The cone and cup can be easily mounted and their axial clearance or preload can be adjusted during assembly. For reliable operation, replace the cone and cup together from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems caused by differences in profiles, materials, or tolerances. Always use a matching cup from the same manufacturer with the 321 Timken.
