Product Description
The 30228 FAG is a single-row tapered roller bearing with conical raceways and tapered rollers positioned between the inner and outer rings. This design allows the bearing to accommodate combined loads, including high radial and axial loads in one direction, with increased axial load capacity at greater contact angles. It is easy to (dis)assemble as a combination of a cup and a cone, with the cone unit consisting of an inner ring with cage and roller set, and the cup serving as the outer ring. Single-row tapered roller bearings have an open design and can be mounted together with a second tapered roller bearing in mirror-image arrangement, or as paired sets in X, O, or tandem arrangements.
