Product Description
The 28300 Timken is an outer ring cup designed to combine with a separate cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces effectively. Its geometry prevents sliding movements and minimizes component wear, but a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The cup and cone can be easily mounted and adjusted for end play or preload. For reliable operation, it’s advised to replace both components at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer. Always combine the 28300 Timken with a matching cone from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
