Product Description
The 2734 Timken is the outer ring of a single-row tapered roller bearing that combines with a separately available cone to form a complete bearing. Its conical design enables the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction with higher capacity at greater angles. The geometric design minimizes wear and requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup are easy to mount and allow for axial clearance or preload adjustment during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances.
