Product Description
The 24780/Q SKF is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate outer ring (cup), they form a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and tapered rollers prevent sliding movements, reducing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and axial adjustment. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
