Product Description
The 24780 Peer is a cone used for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a compatible cup (or outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. The geometric design minimizes sliding movements, reducing wear while requiring a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. It is recommended to replace both components at the same time and use parts from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems. For optimal performance, pair the 24780 Peer with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
