Product Description
The 171400 Timken is a cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It serves as the outer ring that, when combined with a separately available cone, creates a complete tapered roller bearing. This bearing is built with conical raceways and roller elements, allowing it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The design minimizes sliding movements between raceways and rollers, reducing component wear. To ensure proper operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems resulting from inconsistencies.
