Product Description
The Timken 15579X is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate cup, these parts create a complete bearing, capable of handling radial and axial forces. The design minimizes wear by preventing sliding movements, but requires a minimum load for proper operation. The cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for end play or preload. For reliable performance, it is recommended to replace both components at the same time and to use parts from the same manufacturer. Always pair the 15579X Timken with a matching cup.
