Product Description
The 108142 Timken is an outer ring for a single-row tapered roller bearing, designed to be used with a compatible cone to form a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements allow it to absorb radial and axial forces, with the angle between the outer ring and the bearing’s center line determining its axial load capacity. By preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, this bearing minimizes wear. It can be easily mounted and allows for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
