Product Description
The 776 Bower is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of withstanding radial and axial forces. The conical raceways of the inner and outer rings, along with tapered rollers, prevent sliding movements and minimize wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load and allows for easy mounting and axial adjustment. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
