Product Description
The 598 Bower is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup, these parts create a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. Its design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear. Easy to mount and adjust, it’s essential to replace both cone and cup simultaneously for reliable operation. Matching it with a cup from the same manufacturer is recommended to avoid potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances.
