Product Description
The 496 Koyo (JTEKT) is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers of the bearing. When paired with a compatible cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design of this bearing minimizes component wear and allows for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace the cone and cup together and to use matching components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
