Product Description
The 4T-46368 NTN is a cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it creates a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and roller elements allow the bearing to withstand radial and axial forces in one direction. Tapered roller bearings reduce sliding movements and minimize component wear, although a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting and allow for adjustment of axial clearance and preload. For best results, it’s advised to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing issues.
