Product Description
The 49585 Bower is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separate cup (or outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing designed to withstand radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and tapered rollers prevent sliding movements, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and adjusting end play or preload during assembly is straightforward due to the separable nature of the cone and cup.
