Product Description
The 749A BCA Federal Mogul is a removable cone used for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup, these parts create a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding between the raceways and rollers to minimize component wear, but a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting and axial adjustment, while replacing both components simultaneously is recommended for reliable operation. It is advisable to choose components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
