The L44610 Koyo (JTEKT) is a cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It functions as the outer ring and can be paired with a compatible cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces efficiently. The separable cone and cup enable easy assembly and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. It’s highly recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously to ensure reliable bearing operation. For optimal performance, use components from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues.
