Product Description
The 396 NTN is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces. Its geometry prevents sliding for minimal wear, and it can be adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
